     1. Check the Available Storage on your Device

Transferring images and apps into the external SD Cared will release some memory on your smartphone. Remember, few apps do not work properly if you transfer it into the external memory card. If any apps start to crash after transferring it to the external memory card, please transfer it back to the phone memory for the smooth functioning of that particular app.

Also, you can upload the images and other documents to online storage apps like Google Drive, Google Photos, Microsoft One Drive or DropBox. After uploading the data, just delete it from your device.

I use Google Photos App to save my photos and other images. As soon as I take a photograph or download a picture, it will automatically upload into Google Photos App. After uploading the image into Google Photos, I can safely delete the photos from my smartphone.

     3. Uninstall Unnecessary Apps From the Device

Do not install any unnecessary apps into your device. If you check the smartphone, you can find more than a couple of apps which you do not use regularly. Today itself check your smartphone and uninstall all the unnecessary app from your smartphone. I uninstalled Facebook App from my smartphone as it is a useless app for me.

     4. Clear Google Play App Cache

Still, Unfortunately Google Play Store Has Stopped issue not fixed? Then the app cache might be the possible reason for crashing Google Play Store. If this is the case, then clearing the app cache of Google Play Store and Google Play Services may fix unfortunately Google Play has stopped issue on your smartphone.

Follow below steps to clear App Cache.

  1. Go to the settings and App Management.
  2. Now find Google Play Store and Google Play Store Service from the app list.
  3. Open both the apps and clear the cache by tapping on it.

     5. Remove Gmail Account From the Device and Add it Again

After removing the Google Account from the device, you can add it back at the settings. Follow the following steps to add Google Account to the Android Phone.

  1. Go to settings.
  2. Find “Account and Sync.”
  3. A new window will open up and tap on “Add Account” at the bottom.
  4. Now Tao on “Google.” If you see two “Google” on the list, tap on the first one.
  5. As you tap on “Google”( See the Image), you will find the options to add the Google Account.Add Gmail Account

Now check the phone to confirm whether the issue is solved or not. If the issue not solved, then you have to go for a Factory Reset.

     6. Factory Reset

A factory reset is a final hope to fix Unfortunately Google Play Store Has Stopped issue on an Android Smartphone if all other tricks fail to solve the problem. You should go for a Factory reset only if all the other methods fail to fix the issue. Because when you do a factory reset, all the data and settings will permanently wipe off from your device.
